Silfies CEO becomes a member of “The Mack Pack”

 

Nazareth, PA – Randy Sheeler, President & Chief Executive Officer of FT Silfies, a regional Mid-Atlantic dry bulk carrier, has been named to the Prestigious Mack Pack.

 

“I am honored to be elected to such a group that allows Mack to build trucks that are ready for the challenges of tomorrow and are designed to help us succeed,” stated Sheeler.  “We’ve had tremendous success since our relationship started with Mack and our local dealer, TransEdge Truck Center of Allentown, started in 2005.  We want Mack to be proud that a carrier in their backyard is running their product locally; they can almost see our equipment traveling the major highways just outside of their office building.  I’ve purchased Macks for years and have been very happy with their service. Mechanical vehicles from any manufacturer are going to have some problems; we’re fortunate that our Macks have stayed on the road because whenever we’ve had a problem, TransEdge and Mack collaborate to get our equipment repaired and back on the road,” added Sheeler.

 

Sheeler added, “As a member of the Mack Pack, this gives Silfies a voice for the future design and success of the product, and we are honored to be represented in a group of trucking companies much larger than us that have a say.  They’ve treated us well and we certainly have worked hard to promote their great product. I’m truly honored to be associated with such a fine group.”
