Jim Niness Promoted to Executive Vice President

 

Nazareth, PA – Jim Niness has been promoted to Executive Vice President of FT Silfies Inc., a regional Mid Atlantic dry bulk carrier.

 

“Jim has done an excellent job since joining Silfies earlier this year and will maintain the role of Chief Operating Officer as well as leading a strategic sales initiative focusing on increasing revenue and yield improvement as Executive Vice President for the company,” according to Randy Sheeler, President & CEO.

 

“We’ve more than doubled the size of our company within the past 12 months through organic growth and acquisitions and Jim has played an integral role in our success.  There is nothing easy about growing within a short time frame, however Jim and his operating team built a solid foundation at the corporate office to be to handle the growth and maintain a strong operating ratio,” added Sheeler.
