Silfies Is Coming to the 2006 Carlisle All Truck Nationals in Full Force

Nazareth, PA – F.T. Silfies Inc., a mid Atlantic regional dry bulk carrier is coming to the 2006 Carlisle, PA All Truck Nationals in full force.

 

“We had several drivers participate in this event over the past several years and this year we’ll have 9 drivers participating,” according to Bruce Donovan, Vice President & General Manager.  “All of our theme tractors will be there and the drivers that run them everyday will be on site.  These are work trucks and we’re very proud of what they represent.  We receive calls to our corporate office telling us they’ve seen the flag truck or the flame truck on the road and people just want to tell us how great they look which is very encouraging.  Too many times people call trucking companies to complain about a driver they saw or a tractor that was running erratically and it’s nice to have compliments on how great our trucks look,” added Donovan.

 

“Mr. Sheeler has encouraged us to get involved and support these drivers and that’s why we’re making such a big deal out of Carlisle.  All participating drivers have been encouraged to bring their families to the event and Silfies has put all of the drivers in local hotels where they can enjoy each others company,” added Donovan.  “We want the community to know where here and we’re enjoying what we do for a living and we practice what we preach.”
